UNIMOT GAZ ENTERED THE LNG MARKET

UNIMOT GAZ intensifies its operations on the natural gas market. The company just sent its first transport of LNG.

UNIMOT GAZ S.A. has completed its first natural gas trading transaction at the beginning of December, the sale of LNG originating from the branch of PGNiG S.A. in Odolanow.

„ The completion of the first transaction, while meeting all its formal requirements, accounts for full participation in the Polish natural gas market ”, stated Przemysław Podgórski, a Member of Board of UNIMOT GAZ S.A.

This is in accordance with the Company’s strategy, aiming at further expansion in the natural gas sector. Currently the Company is planning to finalize subsequent transactions and continues to broaden its client portfolio.

Let’s remind, that in June UNIMOT GAZ S.A. was granted by the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) a licence to conduct business activities in the form of trade in gaseous fuels and a promise of licence to conduct business activities in the form of foreign trade in natural gas. Subsequently the Company was granted a licence to conduct business activities in the form of foreign trade in natural gas in October. UNIMOT GAZ S.A. was also exempted from the obligation to maintain mandatory reserves of natural gas .
