The UNIMOT Group, owner of AVIA stations in Poland and Ukraine, has opened its first station at a Service Area (MOP). This marks another step in the brand's development, which has surpassed 140 locations in Poland. The new station, operating under a franchise model, is located in Moczydło, along the S7 expressway.
In Poland, Motorway Service Areas (MOPs) are roadside facilities located along motorways and expressways, offering travellers a broader range of services than standard fuel stations, including dining, parking, and rest areas.
The newly opened AVIA station in Moczydło, located in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, is situated at a Motorway Service Area along the S7 expressway – the main transport route connecting Kraków with Kielce. Thanks to this convenient location, the station serves as an important stop for travellers. The brand offers customers a wide range of fuels, including diesel (ON), ON Gold, Pb95, Pb98, LPG, and AdBlue. The station also provides non-fuel services, such as a restaurant and the AVIA’s brand Eat&Go concept. The facility has two parking spaces for heavy vehicles.
"Opening our first station at a Motorway Service Area is an important step in the development of our network, which now includes over 140 locations in Poland. Our goal is to create multifunctional facilities that provide comprehensive services: 24/7 availability, competitive fuel prices, and modern technical equipment," says Michał Hojowski, Vice President of UNIMOT.
Since the beginning of 2025, the UNIMOT Group has been consistently opening new locations, including the launch of a new station in Strzeszowice along the A18 motorway, which operates in the AVIA Truck format.
The UNIMOT Group is a member of the AVIA International association, becoming the first to obtain the right to build and develop the AVIA fuel station network in Poland and Ukraine. There are over 3,200 AVIA stations across Europe, making the brand the seventh largest in terms of the number of stations on the continent. The UNIMOT Group's strategy for 2024-2028 in the fuel station segment includes, among others, doubling fuel sales volume and non-fuel sales, improving the efficiency of its stations, maintaining high operational standards, and further developing the AVIA GO app, which currently has over 100,000 users. At the same time, UNIMOT is focusing on increasing the number of AVIA stations offering the HVO100 biofuel. Currently, this low-emission fuel, produced from plant-based oils, is available at stations in Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódź Voivodeship), Myszęcin (Lubusz Voivodeship), and Brzeźnik (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). The company was the first in Poland to introduce HVO100 at fuel stations.
