Kozminski University, in collaboration with the UNIMOT group, is launching a pioneering postgraduate programme which is focused on commodity trading and investment in commodity markets. The course, for which recruitment is underway, will fill an educational gap in this field in our part of Europe.
Kozminski University is expanding its educational offer with a unique postgraduate programme focused on commodity trading and investment in commodity markets. The programme Commodity Trading. Investment in Commodity Markets is a response to the growing demand for experts in this field. The studies, carried out in cooperation with UNIMOT – one of the leaders in the fuel and energy industry in Poland, aim to prepare participants to effectively manage and invest in global commodity markets.
“We are very happy to be able to offer a new postgraduate studies that respond to the needs of business,” – emphasises Dr Adrian Struciński, the faculty supervisor of the studies. “Commodity Trading. Investment in Commodity Markets is a programme that, thanks to close cooperation with UNIMOT, combines a practical approach with theory and up-to-date scientific knowledge. Together, we will fill a gap in the educational offer of our region, while opening the way for our students to effectively manage and invest in global commodity markets.”
The studies programme has been created for individuals who wish to acquire key skills in the management of commodity companies and organisations involved in international commodity trading. It is also aimed at experts responsible for commodity risk management, employees of trading departments in financial institutions and commodity companies, and individual investors interested in deepening their knowledge of investment in commodity markets.

The curriculum covers a range of topics including market analysis, risk management, trading strategies and global commodity flows. Classes will be taught by both lecturers of Kozminski University and practitioners of Unimot Group with extensive experience in commodity trading and risk management. The combination of academic and practical knowledge is a guarantee that students will be provided with the most up-to-date and thus market-verified knowledge.
