UNIMOT has launched a new AVIA petrol station, this time in Gorzów Wielkopolski. This is the first flag facility of the brand that fully exposes the new shop concept Eat&Go with a well-developed coffee corner, relaxation zone and used for the first time in the AVIA chain apart from Digital Signage screens, aroma- and audiomarketing. Also, photovoltaic panels AVIA Solar have been installed on the station’s roof.
The AVIA petrol station in Gorzów Wielkopolski at 21 Walczaka, which covers almost 200 square meters, includes a modern shop concept Eat&Go, which combines minimalism and ergonomics of a new-style convenience shop. Motorists can enjoy here a comfortable relaxation zone with regular sockets and USB ports for charging phones, well-developed coffee corner with aromatic coffee served in a number of ways, properly planned checkout area and modernised toilets — all meant to ensure high quality of service and experience at the station.
An innovative solution introduced to the new station in Gorzów Wielkopolski is placing photovoltaic panels of AVIA Solar on its roof. The installation will provide the station with green energy. This is not just for economic reasons that will result in a decreased cost of station’s operation, but also a message to all motorists that AVIA petrol stations are places where they can order the service of installing photovoltaic panels of AVIA Solar.
The AVIA station in Gorzów Wielkopolski is our showpiece that we want to present to Polish motorists and our potential business partners the look of a modern petrol station with its own solar power plant and indispensable facilities for travellers: spacious relaxation zone, designer solutions and exquisite coffee, naturally guaranteeing at the same time high quality of fuel and affordable prices — says Mr Adam Sikorski, President of the Management Board of UNIMOT S.A. While creating it we tried to use best experiences of the AVIA brand, Swiss roots and in a comprehensive way satisfy the needs of Polish customers and specificity of our fuel market — adds Mr Adam Sikorski.
The new station offers the motorists 6 refuelling stands of all the popular fuels, including premium fuels AVIA Diesel Gold. The station’s area includes a car park for passenger cars, self-service car wash, presented for the first time in the territory of Poland under the brand of AVIA, and even a parcel box.
A novelty, also introduced for the first time at the station in Gorzów Wielkopolski is utilisation of audio- and aromamarketing. Subtle music and soothing scent are supposed to make the time motorists spend at the station even more pleasant.
A combination of several stimuli affecting various senses positively influences experiences of motorists at a petrol station. We want our customers to feel comfortable at our stations and be able to or have coffee in a pleasant atmosphere. This is one of the reasons why we decided to introduce audio- and aromamarketing to our stations – says Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz, Marketing Director in the AVIA chain. 80% of the decisions are made without our conscious control, in case of 75% of people the sense of smell influences the emotions they feel and 65% of people can expect a change of their moods thanks to music, these figures are food for thought, so we are going to develop this element of station interior in newly-opened facilities – adds Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz.
Presently the AVIA chain includes over 50 stations, whose range of operation covers almost the whole territory of Poland. The stations are located mainly in medium and small cities. They are also present in several big cities — in Cracow, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
