UNIMOT announces a mobile application Tankuj24 for buying cheap fuel

24.11.2016

UNIMOT, the Polish independent importer of fuels has announced and innovative project called Tankuj24, which is supposed to provide Polish drivers with access to buy cheaper fuel through a mobile application. The application will be available for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The application will make it possible not only to compare prices at petrol stations, but also buy fuel at competitive prices. It will offer a convenient mobile payment through a well-known PayU operator and one collective invoice for all purchases during a month, which will be a facilitation for small and medium enterprises. Fuel will be physically collected from one of partner petrol stations.

The world of sales has clearly evolved towards mobile solutions. Nowadays we book hotels, taxis or even food delivered to our homes. In my opinion it is time for mobile purchase of fuel – says Mr Robert Brzozowski the President of the Board of UNIMOT. Sale of fuels through the application is just opening a new channel of fuel sales to a retail customer, which has not been launched in Poland yet, and we want to be the first subject to do this. Such actions are in line with the development strategy of our capital group which assumes investments into modern technologies, which will change our relatively conservative fuel and energy market – adds Mr Brzozowski.

Tankuj24 – 3 simple steps to buy cheaper fuels through the application.

The Tankuj24 application will be directed at individual drivers and small companies that value saving costs and convenience. Buying cheaper fuels through the mobile application will be done in 3 simple steps. First we chose on the map a petrol station nearby, which offers fuels at best price, then we book a given amount of fuel, and finally we collect the fuel at the chosen petrol station. Application will also offer access to the history of all orders, thanks to which the user will have a total control over expenditures. Additionally, for the convenience of entrepreneurs once a month a collective invoice will be issued for all the purchases made through the application.

Tankuj24 – a development chance for petrol stations.

The Tankuj24 application is also a chance for development for petrol stations that will cooperate in this project. The mobile application will ensure partner petrol stations inflow of new customers, which as a result will increase the volume of sold fuel and increased sales of all products and services offered at the station, including shops, car washes or catering services.

By inviting petrol stations to participate in the Tankuj24 project we are offering a free access to a mobile sales channel. Thanks to us the petrol station will reach new retail customers without any investments and additionally we will provide our partners with technical and marketing support – convinces Mr Brzozowski.

Launching the Tankuj24 project is planned in the first half of the year 2017. Initially the service will be available in chosen regions, then in the territory of the whole country. Ultimately, the project will be developed on foreign markets under the name Refuel24.com. Upcoming weeks will be used by UNIMOT to find petrol stations to participate in the project. Up-to-date information on the project can be found on the website Tankuj24.pl.
