The company UNIMOT GAZ S.A. will actively participate in natural gas market liberalisation. As the new development strategy for the next two years the Company plans to start production of liquefied natural gas and CNG as well as creating its own natural gas distribution network in non-gasified areas.
During the next two years UNIMOT GAZ S.A. will intensify its activities on the natural gas market. The Company presented the new strategy during a press conference on 13th February 2014. The strategy presumes acquiring leading position in natural gas sector by production of liquefied natural gas and creating and developing own distribution network.
The project of natural gas trade undertaken by UNIMOT GAZ S.A. assumes, among others, acquiring other distribution networks throughout the country; using the opportunities of independent import of natural gas and gasification based on LNG technology. The latter includes supplies for companies, institutions, other businesses, etc. and popularisation of LNG as fuel for lorries.
“The aim of our strategy for the nearest two years is to take advantage of the new opportunities open to our company owing to liberalisation of natural gas market”informed Bogusław Satława, the Chairman of the Board of UNIMOT GAZ S.A., adding “The Company’s experience in trade on the energy market and valuable know-how of our new investors – companies Incogas and Moka enable us to supply complete energy solutions based on natural gas and LNG”.
The Company is planning further dynamic development in liquid gas sector and to achieve this goal it will strengthen its position as LPG distributor for southern Poland and keep the leading position among the wholesalers and importers of natural gas. The strategic plan assumptions also include increasing sales to foreign buyers and extended use of existing warehousing and transhipment facilities.
As an active participant of the natural gas market, UNIMOT GAZ S.A. plans to achieve its position in the complete chain of gas products providers – starting from production to distribution of gas to the end users. Such actions will certainly increase the company’s value and will accelerate its introduction on the GPW /Warsaw Stock Exchange/
