The signed letter of intent determines the principles of further cooperation between UNIMOT and Alpiq, the aim of which is intensified electricity and natural gas sales with the use of traditional sales channels as well as the innovative e-commerce channel. The offer is supposed to be addressed to individual clients and small and medium enterprises.
“We assume that experience of many years and competencies of Alpiq in the scope of mass clients on other European markets, combined with the knowledge of UNIMOT on the Polish market can cause that we will propose a unique, innovative offer of electricity and natural gas sales in Poland. We intend to engage in this project development our specialized companies Tradea and Energogas, which belong to the UNIMOT Capital Group” – says Robert Brzozowski, the President of UNIMOT.
Alpiq does not exclude a capital investment in a subsidiary of the UNIMOT Capital Group, The Parties have granted each other exclusive rights to discuss cooperation within the period of six months. A commonly elaborated project of further cooperation is supposed to be created at that time.
“The actions aimed at starting a close cooperation with Alpiq are in line with our development strategy of selling various energy sources types, including the electricity ” – adds Mr Brzozowski, the President of UNIMOT.
