The largest petrol station for trucks at A2 will be created under the AVIA brand. UNIMOT, the company responsible for development of AVIA in Poland has signed a franchise contract with Charter, the company that creates Wiskitki Port.
A modern station and garage complex for trucks is being constructed in Wiskitki (Mazowieckie Voivodeship), at the junction of A2 motorway and No 50 national road. In the future it will be adjacent to the planned Central Communication Port in Baranów. The complex called Wiskitki Port will be launched in Q3 of the current year and it will operate under the AVIA brand.
The largest AVIA petrol station in Poland for truck refuelling will operate within the Wiskitki Port. Four stands for TIR vehicles have been foreseen here to refuel with traditional fuels and satellites as well as four AdBlue stands. Moreover, a spacious car park with a compressor and vacuum cleaner and a car wash with two stands will be available for trucks in the premises. Apart from the modern petrol station the complex for trucks will also include a diagnostic and service station that will render mechanical and repair services as well as painting ones. The garage is prepared for 11 stands.
The AVIA station in Wiskitki will also serve private cars, six stands for refuelling with traditional fuels and two LPG stands have been prepared for them. The station’s customers will be able to make use of the catering offer in the bar and restaurant.
– We are pleased that Charter Sp. z o.o. has become a new partner of the AVIA franchise chain – says Mr Maciej Szozda, the President of UNIMOT S.A. – The AVIA station in Wiskitki will stand out not only due to its size; it will service the Partner’s truck fleet that includes over 600 of TIR vehicles and naturally all trucks and private cars that will move along A2 motorway and the Wiskitki junction. The drivers will be able to locate it easily thanks to so called welcome sign, that is a 30-metre advertising pole that will be placed at the route.
Charter Sp. z o.o. is a family company operating on the international transport market since 1995. Currently, Charmer occupies a leading position among refrigerated carriers in Poland. The company has two branches in Poland, one in the territory of Belarus and four in Russia. The central base of the company currently located in Urszulin will be soon moved to the modern complex in Wiskitki.
– The site was not selected randomly – claims Mr Krzysztof Czaplicki, the owner of Charter. – This is the fastest route for provision of services East-West. Thanks to the fact that the central office for servicing the whole company will be created in such a localization, including garage facilities, our drivers will not waste time to reach the remote base, which will allow us to optimize their work.
Currently repair and finishing works of Wiskitki Port are in progress. The facility will be launched in Q3 of the current year.
